Before work begins
An advertiser can request cancellation before a publisher accepts or meaningful work begins. Payment-provider fees or committed third-party costs may affect the amount that can be returned where legally permitted.
After acceptance or work begins
Once a publisher accepts an order, starts writing, reserves inventory or begins publication work, cancellation is reviewed based on the work completed and the package terms. A full refund is not automatic.
Publisher cannot deliver
If the publisher cannot deliver the agreed placement and no acceptable alternative is agreed, LinxGiant may cancel the order and process the appropriate refund or credit after reviewing the order record.
After publication
Once the agreed placement is live and materially matches the approved brief, refunds are generally not expected solely because the advertiser dislikes subsequent search-engine performance, traffic or ranking outcomes.
Removed or materially changed placements
If a placement is removed or materially changed contrary to an explicit package commitment, the parties should use order messaging and the dispute process. LinxGiant can review replacement, partial refund, credit or other resolution options based on the evidence.
Payment-processing and third-party costs
Stripe and other payment providers may retain some processing, currency-conversion, banking or transaction fees even when LinxGiant refunds a payment. Where permitted by applicable law and disclosed for the transaction, an approved discretionary refund may be reduced by the actual non-refundable third-party transaction cost incurred by LinxGiant.
LinxGiant does not invent or estimate these deductions. Any deduction is based on the actual transaction cost recorded by the payment provider. This does not limit refund, cancellation or consumer-protection rights that cannot legally be waived.
Partial refunds
When only part of an order is refundable, LinxGiant may issue a partial refund based on the undelivered portion, work already completed, publisher transfer status, marketplace fees, actual non-refundable payment costs and the evidence available in the order record.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when supported. Bank and card processing times are controlled by payment providers and financial institutions. A refund can remain pending while the payment provider completes processing.
Marketplace disputes
Opening a LinxGiant dispute can place an unreleased publisher payout on hold while the order, messages and delivery evidence are reviewed. An internal LinxGiant resolution is separate from a card-network or Stripe chargeback process.
Chargebacks
Users should contact LinxGiant and use the marketplace dispute process before initiating a payment chargeback when practical. If a payment provider opens a chargeback, LinxGiant may hold or recover related publisher funds as allowed by the payment-provider rules and applicable law. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks can result in account restriction.
